New Years Eve

The current time will display itself when I'm done with this post. We have intentions of hanging out with some friends that are just like family to bring the New Year in. I have to go and make a famous dish of mines that everybody seems to like so much.

I don't mind doing it at all, because every now and again I like to get a little bit of praise. I'm sure we all do at sometime or another. That seems to be the nature of human life, we like to get rewarded with things, especially money. I will end this here and I'll hopefully be back to write more if I hadn't had too much to drink. I don't drink a lot, but in the spur of the moment I can have a good time. Keep in mind that you don't have to drink to have a good time.

Good Luck,
Champ

Rough, but goodnight

Tonight was poker night for me and a few of my buddies. We all met at Julie's house between 7-9PM. The ante was the same as always, and everybody ever so eager trying to multiply their money times five.

The game started out slow for me the second week in a row and it is a bit obnoxious. Julie tends to take me out of every game. She sits next to me and it is like she has telekinesis when it comes to my hand.

I was the first person to lose all of my chips. The person that took my chips actually won the whole tournament. I've heard that the House always win, ironically we played a Julie's house tonight.

Take all the Poker blessings that you come by, because I'm coming to get you at warp speed. No more losses, no more comforts, need is the full bankroll.

See you all next week to indulge in your pockets!!!

Rent

We went to see the broadway play turned cinema Rent yesterday. In the beginning it is safe to say I enjoyed myself. I tend to like musicals, but I can't get away from comparing them to the great Grease.

I guess it could be said the I am being unfair to judge the movie in such a manner. I wouldn't say any such thing, because all movies have room for improvement. Directors should use movies already on the market as examples. I wouldn't ever release a movie that wasn't received well by audiences.

I think Rent deserves only 4 out of 10 stars simply because the story was drawn out too long and the homosexuality in it. I tended to lose a lot of interest when the same sex couple thing started to happen. If a person is into that type of material, they may enjoy it better than anything they've seen before. Cut the Movie down to no more than 90 minutes and take some of the sexuality out and you have a great movie. So many people feel it is necessary to tell a two hour plus story when only a little more than an hour is needed.
